This recycled solid board—laminated with paper derived from fallen city leaves—presents a high-performance alternative to traditional fossil-based packaging and virgin wood fiber.

By processing urban leaf waste collected from city streets, Releaf transforms organic waste into durable plant fibers. Eska integrates these fibers using its industrial lamination expertise, delivering a solid board that pairs a distinct natural aesthetic with exceptional structural rigidity and flatness required for rigid box conversion.

Upcycled Biomass Meets Industrial Precision

Unlike conventional paperboards that require wood pulp harvested from commercial forests, Eska Leaf turns municipal bio-waste into a valuable material resource. The lamination preserves the organic, fibrous grain of autumn leaves, granting each packaging board a unique visual identity and premium tactile feel.

Independent consumer research co-commissioned by RDM Group highlighted that 80% of consumers perceive brands as significantly more environmentally responsible when recycled materials are visibly incorporated into product packaging. Eska Leaf allows luxury brand owners, cosmetic packaging converters, and high-end label manufacturers to communicate their environmental commitment directly through the physical texture of their packaging.

With in-house lamination and bespoke laboratory formulation capabilities, brand owners can tailor board thickness, finish, and surface properties to suit specialized hot-stamping, die-cutting, and eco-labeling processes.
